Easter Egg Hunt
Easter Sunday and Monday (8th and 9th April)
Join the trail for your chocolate reward. Take part in our free Easter Egg Hunt to win a chocolate treat. Spectacular free-flying Bird of Prey and Parrot shows will also be taking place, along with unforgettable Animal Encounters.
Enchanted Fairy Forest
Daily during Spring Bank Holidays
(Saturday 2nd June – Sunday 10th June)
Magical fun for the young and the young at heart! The Enchanted Forest and Magical Fairy Garden will delight visitors young and old. Experience a magical fantasy world as you discover tiny pixie dwellings and fairy hideaways.
Animal Olympics
Daily during Summer Holidays
(Saturday 21st July – Sunday 2nd September)
How fast, how long, how high? Discover the incredible talents of the animals at the Tropical Butterfly House when you meet them close-up during unforgettable Animal Encounters.
See spectacular free-flying bird shows, featuring Birds of Prey and free-flying Macaws, and cheer on your favourite chicken in the daily ‘Wacky Races’ tournament.
Wonder at the skills of the highly intelligent parrots; shows featuring basketball, cycling, skateboarding, gymnastics and more, taking place daily.
Enjoy fun and educational Olympic themed crafts, activities and games throughout the event.
Halloween Spooktacular
Weekends in October and daily during half term (Saturday 27th October – Sunday 4th November)
Come face to face with ghosts and ghouls and take a Haunted Hayride round the Freaky Forest. Play Trick or Treat on the Witch in the Wood and see magical bird of prey displays. Carve a pumpkin, join in creepy crafts and enjoy witches brews and spooky snacks. Daily kids’ fancy dress competition – don’t forget your Halloween costume! Suitable for children of all ages.
Santa, Elves and Sleigh Bells
Weekends in December and daily Saturday 22nd - – Monday 24th December
(half term ends 6th January)
Experience a classic Christmas at the Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife and Falconry Centre!
Visit the nativity scene in the cosy stable, meet friendly farm animals and take a peek in the manger. Hitch a ride aboard a magical sleigh on your way to meet Father Christmas in his enchanting grotto.
Sip a warming glass of mulled wine, sample delicious hot chocolate and homemade festive goodies, then browse a selection of festive stocking fillers in the Jungle Gift Shop.
Normal admission charges apply for all events, some activities and crafts may carry an additional charge.
