Creepy crawlies have stolen the limelight in the butterfly house this week with the arrival of a bumper new batch of fascinating beasties. The centre hosted a VIP guest on Wednesday; the snooker player Barry ‘The Hawk’ Hawkins. Barry, accompanied by a BBC film crew, visited us in the run up to playing in the World Snooker Championships at the Crucible, Sheffield. A young child was heard the other day asking her parents ”Is that the Easter Bunny?” when she saw ‘Biggles’, one of the rabbits at the Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife and Falconry Centre near Sheffield.
