The Meerkat family began with just Mr. and Mrs. Meerkat AND then another male, Stumpy, was introduced who became the new alpha male. Over the years, Meerkat Mansion’s population has expanded to a family of 12! Meerkat groups are very strict and only the alpha female is permitted to breed, so it is Mrs. Meerkat who is mother to Simples and Fizzy (the oldest of her babies), as well as Buttons, Crunchie and Twix, and four other babies, yet to be named!
