In the wild these bats are classified as "Endangered" by The International Union for Conservation of Nature. They are endemic to the island of Rodrigues, and are threatened by habitat loss through storm damage and human intervention. However their population numbers are now slowly increasing! 
In return you will receive an adoption certificate and your name on our adoption boards. All profits will help the upkeep of the adopted animal.
